Brand new project just released to Production status based out of the University of Sussex. Testing the concepts or circuit development in the future.

289 Users and 762 Hosts at this time.

Very long WU's with Trickle Points every 15 minutes.

I have one old AMD Win 64 system loaded with it's first WU and after 16 hours I am at 2.9%. The project forums state to not pay too much attention to percentages and time estimates as the project runs off of trickles for both Credits and Data.

So far the WU has run clean with no unusual BOINC symptoms.

They also have a stand alone non-Boinc option for those interested in that.

I will update more as I log more hours and credits.

If anyone wants in at the ground floor of a new project here you go.

Thanks for the info Bill. Might give it a try when I've got a rig free.

This is a very different project for the BOINC community. The work units are actually "dummy" work units in that the real work is constantly being processed and sent back to their servers. So, even if the work unit "fails" it may still have tons of credit because the completed work was already "trickled" up. They have adjusted the trickle time frame a few times between every 15 minutes and 1 hour. So, the run time duration doesn't matter for completion. It does affect how other projects are managed by the client. Most of the major issues have been ironed out. Last I looked they were finishing up with choosing how the scoring would be after things settle. Earlier "testers" receive a lot more credit for their contributions than future donors will receive. The admin seems very active to respond as many are in their projects earlier days. They also have a non-BOINC client/application. So, don't confuse the two if you go to the project looking for guidance.

It has also had a very rocky time on consistency of BOINC credits.

Coleslaw is correct credit values and awards have not been real consistent. It looks like the Admin has made another adjustment on or around Jan 5th and credits have calmed down.
A little over 1100 active users now with around 7000 hosts active.

If the project was to actually be added to the Vault .... What grouping would be correct ? Math or Misc.

Its not physical yet or Bio as it is not alive.

And no primes ... my guts would place it in “Misc”. Good question

Well Misc has fewer projects than any other group at this moment

Thank you for the Update... I noticed it late last night when my Team numbers jumped.

This may add some Teams to the DHEP project.
