After looking at my previous post, one might see a slightly negative cast. Its not true. I first started tracking our team total on June 4th. We were at 6.267P, we're now at 6.881, 10 weeks later. This is an increase of 9.8% on a project we have been producing in for 8 years and 3 months now.

Truly remarkable.

Mission Status: 8.17.11

A little less than a week on this update. Total time since mission start date: about 5 1/2 weeks. We continue to gain on all tracked teams.

The good news -> This next week should have two very good news items. 1) We will crest 7.0 PetajEMs, 2) unless XtremeSystems makes a major move, we will pass them this coming week. They are .042P away.

Target SOB@China -> .21 PetajEMs away. Estimate: 5 weeks at current production levels (them and us)

TeamUK -> .613 away (that's more than we've produced so far during the mission). Good news -> we have been steadily out-producing them and that's not shabby at all!

zgeek.com -> 1.762 away. still haven't moved during the entire mission. At this rate there is no doubt we will catch them ... next year sometime.

On a side note, I will be taking a small break from the mission during the period 18:00 UTC Aug 26 to 18:00 UTC Aug 28 (and probably a couple of hours before and after the exact times) to participate in the Primegrid PPS LLR challenge as an individual ... just to see how well I can do.

Cheers ... and keep crunching!

As predicted. We crossed 7 PetajEMs .. and we are now #23 in SOB. We've passed XtremeSystems.

Now this last week hasn't been our shining moment. Wyles is absent (with leave!) and I've had my troubles (ok, the call of new projects that I just had to investigate).

But the good news, as updated in the first post, is that even with these distractions, we continue to gain on China (and all others tracked).

'nuff saidf

I'm back!!
Well the uber dump didn't eventuate. Once the units were completed it just sat idle. SOmething like the old genome reseed or dnets ability to cache would be bloody awesome for me here.... Feel like I wasted a lot of cycles.
ANyway - back to full power soon. Lets go have Chinese for dinner!!!

It appears to be a glitch. they appear about once a week. No idea what causes it.

This is the standard client(prime95) -> http://sb.pns.net/

Or you can BOINC(primegrid) it, with CPU and/or GPU power -> http://www.primegrid.com

just need to untick the primegrid and ticket 17oB under the PrimeGrid preferences when you log into your account.

I made some screen shots for Wyles and posted them but I cant find the thread/
